Process Chain

Our integrated process mapping starts with the first concept, the project development and the design of the component. We will then develop the subsequent series production process in detail together with you. By contributing our expertise at an early stage, we help to save costs and valuable time and guarantee the required quality.

For us, this means:

  • Drafting design suggestions and data models
  • Feasibility and cost analyses
  • FEM simulation

Based on the future series production process, we produce prototypes and pre-production parts.

As these components already have the properties of the future series parts, material properties, parts safety and their function can already be tested at an early stage.

Here, it is an essential aspect to determine the suitability for series production.

Series production tools

Among other areas, the tools manufactured by Gebhardt are used for manufacturing:

  • complex sheet metal formed parts for the body shell
  • high-quality decorative parts inside and outside the vehicle
  • sophisticated components for engine, gearbox, restraint systems, etc.

Our program also includes tools for the electrical industry and for medical engineering.

  • Follow-on tools and multi-station dies up to a length of 9 m

  • Tool weight up to 32 tons

We are capable of trying out tools under series production conditions on our own try-out presses up to a tool length of 6,000 mm and a total pressing force of 15,000 kN.

With larger tools, we perform the try-out on the customer’s series production presses and guarantee a speedy and smooth start-up.

After-sales service

With our after-sales service we provide the following services within the scope of the process chain:

  • Change and data management
  • Production of replacement parts according to parts list
  • Repair service
  • Qualified technicians for on-site problem solving

Ensure the highest quality, show flexibility. You can rely on us, especially when problems occur and time is of the essence.
